Question for any property experts on here. I am in the process of selling my BTL flat. Unfortunately this is proving a lot more work than Id hoped. I really need to sell as my mortgage deal is about to explode and Ive got a kid on the way so seems wise to sell up.
The solicitors have sent me an LPE1 form, but unfortunately I am at an impasse as I cannot reach the head of the management company who is an older gentleman that is rather unhelpful (I dont blame him, Im sure he has better things to do than help me), and I genuinely do not know the answers to a lot of these questions.
Given that the buyers already own 2 of the 5 flats within the building and have purchased those 2 in the past 18 months, am I right in thinking I can still exchange without completing this document? I assume they are already aware of how the service fees, ground rent etc would work?!
My solicitor seems to think I must complete the forms but this seems illogical to me in the circumstances, as essentially Im only replicating information theyre already aware of.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanking the wise men and women of the BBS in advance!
