My current thoughts, would like to hear everyone else's.
I'm going to include a few U21s in this, or at least suggest that they may be good enough to come through within a couple of years. I don't see any point in going as far as the U18s at this stage.
GK: Guaita and Johnstone with Whitworth and Goodman as 3rd choice is fine.
RB: Wardy should be offered a non-playing role at the club. Clyne should be reserve at the very most, although if he's on £80k per week then we shouldn't renew. Richards could be tried here and of course if Ferguson can stay fit for more than a few minutes he could be useful. The next few games should give Richards that chance on Andersen's return. This will dictate whether we need a RB, personally I'd like one, ideally someone who can also play LB.
LB: Tyrick fine, Tayo could make it, cover available from Schlupp or Jairo.
CB: Fine with Marc, Joa and CR, possibles coming through with O'Brien, Kofi and Grehan. No action needed. Tomkins not renewed.
CM: Doucoure our only first 11 CM. Hughes as back-up, Ozoh looking likely to be good enough, but of course we don't know that for sure. Jairo still has 12 months but would be good to sell him. Jimmy, Luka shouldn't be renewed, which means we definitely need a nailed-on first 11 starter who can cover for the inevitable suspensions and/or injury. Schlupp to play here only if everyone is injured. Potential shown by JWM, Malachi, Rodney, Killian and of course Ozoh as mentioned. But essential that we get someone in asap.
CAM: Eze, Olise should be enough cover, but neither should play in a 433, far more suited to 4231. Mooney could possibly make it, as could Jadan.
Wing: Zaha goes, we have Olise, Eze, Ayew, possibly Jeff, with good potential from JKG and ME. We could probably do with one new signing who can play as an attacking mid/winger as a regular starter, depending on how JKG and ME get on in their loans.
Striker: Edouard is good enough, but he seems to be a confidence player, so we definitely need someone else in this position in our squad. Mateta isn't good enough, not sure about Plange, got a couple of potentials in the U21s.

A Striker.
And if possible:
A FB.
