Guaita 7 - saves and one good punch

Mitchell 8 - solid. Actually, better than that, I thought he kept Almiron quiet and he's very tough. He's improving after a slow start to the season
Guehi 8 - defended well
Richards 8 - looks like he has been there for years
Ward 5 - understood why he played for aerial ability but lacking PL pace now to be a full back

Schlupp 4 - oh dear, thought he was very poor yet again
Doucoure 6 - fine considering who he is alongside

Eze 5 - slightly better, one good run, but still not doing it as he can imho

Zaha 5 - quiet, apart from a decent defensive interception
Edouard 5 - lightweight
Ayew 7 - can see why he starts in these sort of games against top opposition where workrate is important. One good cross.

Subs:
Hughes 8 MOM - put his foot in, won tackles and made a nuisance of himself. Did more in 25 mins than Schlupp has managed for a long time
Mateta 7 - great strike on goal, unlucky. Also defended well
Olise 7 - some good pieces of skill
Clyne 7 - defended well when he came on
Ozoh 7 - great to see him get a debut, so scoring him the same as the other subs

Decent point against tricky opponents. They are difficult to play against due to their physical style of play, but can't fault most of the players for effort. Line-up was dreadful, and put us on the back foot straight away. But we looked so much better when Hughes came on, so I am going to give him my MOM. Didn't look like he was carrying a knock, so baffling to see him left out. Hope he starts from now on. Also strange to see Olise, fresh from scoring a brilliant goal, left out too. Zaha's injury, which looks like a hamstring, is deeply worrying.

Mods, please add Clyne to the poll.
