Crystal Palace express interest in signing FC Copenhagen centre-back Victor Nelsson but face competition from several European clubs as they look to secure deal for 22-year-old
Crystal Palace have checked on FC Copenhagen centre-back Victor Nelsson as they consider a summer move.
The 22-year-old Denmark international was considered by Aston Villa last year amid talk of a £9m offer and has continued to impress with his unflappable nature.
A number of European clubs are taking an interest including Palace who want to bring down the age of their squad.
Nelsson started out as a midfielder so is comfortable in possession and a good passer of the ball. He reads the game well and is good in the air.
Palace want to strengthen through the spine of their team and have also discussed a potential loan move for 19-year-old Juventus defender Radu Dragusin.
They maintain an interest in Chelsea's Conor Gallagher, who has been on loan at West Brom, and his Chelsea clubmate Marc Guehi who has been impressive on loan at Swansea under manager Steve Cooper who is among the contenders to replace Roy Hodgson at Palace.
