Anyone else ever had a friend who has fallen for the Herbalife "opportunity" (thinly veiled pyramid scheme)? Some geezer at work has and he's so convinced that it is going to make him a millionaire, him and a mate actually put suits on and went to a Porsche showroom to take test drives. From what I can see, these companies prey on the weak minded telling them that they can give up their jobs and become millionaires simply by peddling milkshakes to their friends (boring them to death in the process). Every single person I've met who has got into this has ended up getting themselves in debt and having a garage full of useless "nutritional products". One acquaintance even had his missus walk out on him over it, and he now spends his days sharing far right conspiracy memes and Fathers 4 Justice misogyny. They all use the hashtag "#changinglives", blissfully unaware that they're actually ruining their own.
