Is anyone else becoming increasingly bored/ frustrated/ irate at the Declan Rice will he, won't he choose Engalnd to play for at international level discussion?

There was a time when playing for your nation meant something more visceral, privileged and intuitive. Weighing up two home nations as if they were opportunities to be gamed for best personal benefit is incredibly disrespectful to international football, and to the two countries he hopes to represent.
I read today that he was distracted by contract negotiation at West Ham and injury. Us folk in the real world have to deal with all sorts of distracting stuff too, like picking the kids up from school, doing a decent job at work, amd paying the bills on time. Negotiating a 15 fold pay rise alongside would be a ******* doddle - and I wouldn't have an agent looking after it for me.
