Well will he? I am a big Benteke critic. I just do not think we can continually persevere with his poor performances. I just do not buy into the notion he is doing everything right bar scoring. Anything other than a ball in the air his touch is terrible, he gets so easily pushed off the ball and just looks to me he has completely lost his will and desire to get out of this hideous rut he is in. His goals at Leicester and West Ham have done noting for his confidence and seems unable to kick on. All that being said Roy would need to be brave to drop Benteke, once Wilf is back would be a safer bet but do we think he will drop Benteke against United and play Sorloth up top on his own? I think theres more of an outlet with Sorloth and will hold the ball and suppress the pressure better than Benteke from what i've seen. Surely if we keep playing Benteke we will continue to get the same results. I think its time, actually its beyond time imo to go with a another option through the middle. It would be a big call from Roy but he has shown with dropping players for poor performances this season he is more than prepared to make them.
