Can we start Diego Cavalieri?

Does anyone know enough about this guy to judge whether or not he should be starting for us as soon as he's settled?

Looks like he has only ever had a significant run of games in Brazil but if he is competent we have to start him don't we? The Hennessey situation is really costing us...
