Not trying to get ahead ourselves - there's still a lot of work to do.
But, IF we get the draw or the win we need next week, is this likely? Spoke to a few people yesterday who thought it was likely.
My view is that it would look massively two-bob. End-of-season pitch invasions have become an overused cliche, when surely they should only be reserved for truly memorable moments.
Similar to how we have sung about staying up in recent weeks, as pleased as we will be if we do stay up, I'm not sure scraping survival is something we should be celebrating as such, given our squad and the investment it has seen.
We are supposed to be looking upwards. We're told, often by Parish-bashers, to forget about where we've come in recent years, and adopt a new, confident mindset. I don't disagree, but a pitch invasion for stuttering to survival goes against that mindset, surely?
