This may be a long shot but the BBS has come up trumps with some more obscure requests in the past! I'm hoping some of you may know of some aspiring musicians.
I’m keen to have a singer/songwriter (acoustic) playing at my 30th birthday celebrations in a couple of months time in Streatham. It’ll be a small crowd – 40 or so friends and family, so I'd need to manage expectations from the outset. Ideally, I’d like to have a youngster who’s looking for some experience of playing live kick it off, followed by someone with a few more years under the belt. I’d need them to play mainly covers so that there are familiar tunes for guests of all ages. I’ll only have a budget for a small sum, but depending on how well they go down, I’d definitely pass a hat around so guests can make their own contribution.
