A question for the good people of the bbs. And the ones who may answer this.
Suppose you come home from lunch to find three scaffolders in your front garden with one of them sitting on the tiles of your bay window....
Suppose they are in the process of erecting a three story scaffold to fix the guttering next door. They have put half the scaffold in your garden and half on the neighbours rented property.....
Suppose you ask them what they're doing and they say oh we did knock but nobody was in.
Suppose you're close to exchanging contracts on selling your house, but this is not finalised.
What would you do? I've already done it but want to know any views....
