Next season

I fear for next season unless Pardew gets a new game plan. He needs to stop blowing smoke up Cabayes axxx and come up with something new. First half of the season, we got men forward, rode our luck and did well. Second half, injuries hit us, but we still sat back against teams like Watford and Bournemouth, gave them all the ball and ended up losing. Same against ten men, Everton and Liverpool. We need players that can hold onto the ball and others that don't panic like Boliasie when they get the ball in the final third. He may be a star, but Bolasie just isn't consistent enough and there have been too many games when he hasn't shown up. Cabaye is another one who hasn't done enough £86,000 or so a week, we could get a couple of other players for that salary and give Puncheon back some of the responsibility he accepted and thrived on last season.
