If we are looking at 24 year old Davide Santon, a LB from Inter / recently Toon, as 'competition' for Pape, we should really be looking at 21 year old Jordan Amavi, Nice's LB who would cost about half of Santon's fee and certainly fits the mould with him being French, and having bigger potential regarding sell-on fees etc...
