Hi,



3 months ago I got a web designer to make a WordPress website for my company, Football Exclusives.



The designer didn't follow the spec given and as a result I've lost just under £1,900 for my business since the 2nd week of September.



Does anyone know how to help with the following: -



My website takes monthly payments to watch our football highlights which we distribute on behalf of 4 non-league clubs, payment is taken via PayPal but the coding for the button is incorrect and the payments are supposed to be recurring payments. I now have the correct coding and know where there Doc for the PayPal code is located on the theme BUT, I know nothing about this stuff. The Theme Support emailed saying providing I have the correct code (which I do) it should be a 2-3 Minute job.



Can anyone help me? I am not asking for a freebie and will pay.



Secondly, can I lodge a claim against the web designer? I have emails and texts from him saying that the suite is supposed to be a subscription (opt out) site with recurring payments, he has acknowledged this and this function was not added. Can I claim and what are my chances of success?
