I repeat, what the hell did we sign Andy Johnson for? - Is he supposed to be playing, because he never is. Is he supposed to be coaching Dwight Gayle, because he's not playing either?
I honestly can't see the point. If he wasn't good enough for Range Park Queeners, then he definitely isn't good enough for Palace. We might was well have given Kevin Phillips a new contract for all the good AJ is to us. No disrespect to his historical input to Palace and everything like that, but he's taking up a squad number. I didn't think we had room for passengers, and that's all he is. And Doyle.
We've got no-one who can put the ball in the onion bag, (and it hurts me to say this) but unless we sign some money grabbing mercenary scummer like Jermaine Defoe in January by offering him stupid money we might as well start planning for life in the second division.
