Having a chat with the infamous ExiledStirling today, and for some reason we got on to the subject of 'Glad all over' and other club's entrance themes.
We all know the story behind our theme being chosen, but what are the stories and history behind other team's 'theme tunes'?

I see Charlton still play 'The Red, red robin'! :D
Everton's 'Z Cars' is a weird one too; hardly inspiring. I think that was a response to Liverpool choosing the hit smash at the time 'You'll never walk alone', and Everton deciding to go with the hit TV theme instead. Destined to always be in the shadow of their neighbours ever since.
Are these entrance songs a phenomenon started in the 60's?
Did Palace come out to another tune before Glad all over? (I know in the early 80's we switched to 'Power to the Palace' for a season or two).
