5) on sunderland - they had a good win v Stoke - every game is difficult in this league - maximum points are tough - the result last week was beyond the performance and tactics - we have commitment and good players and have enjoyed being in charge of them - am looking forward to see the players against the big teams - not sure about Scott Dann fitness - maybe not fit for monday but defo week after
6) Scott Dann is still training -wouldn't write him off yet - will decide tomorrow
7) everybody i capable in this league - everybody has a chance in every game - as saw when Newcastle beat City in the week - wasn't a fluke - we could have been closer to chelsea if we hadnt lost our man as we did - closest premier league in years apart from the top two.
8) on potential take-over - I came in to help them out - Palace always been close to my heart - so came in to help them - if they get people interested they should talk to them - the four owners wont let the club go into the wrong hands because they are all fans - the club has a great history and fans always worry about that - I dont enough about the take-over but am sure the chairman will inform us - if i was a billionaire I would buy the club - it has heart, soul and passion and that is dwindling elsewhere
9) on grappling - had a great chat with referees this week - it was eye opening - the players learned alot - have to be certain if things are happening - happens in every box - refs under more pressure these days and have to be 100% sure
10) on defending - is more fashionable these days for kids to over lap and get crosses in and centre halves coming out with the ball - alot of that is born into the young players these days
11) on Sully KaiKai - has to learn like the other lads - have to earn the horrible bits with the glamour
12) Guedioura, Bannan and Fryers not had a 90 mins much so Guedioura had 90 mins in U21 match - Dwight Gayle also did well too - this squad all wanna play - are keen to get games under the belt
13) on new media centre - is excellent - will do pressers at the ground in future - the owners are trying to do their best that can with the ground
14) job is as I anticipated - following on from last season - the lads have worked hard to get stability and need to brush up on bits and bob - the basics - nearly have a full squad back - after international break we can have a good go at rest of season - also lost a few players who I would not have let go - am looking to bring 2 or 3 players in January
