Anyone watching this drama on bbc1. I've been finding it fascinating seeing the horrors of WW1 from the German and British perspectives.
A really well done drama following the conflict through the eyes of 2 young guys. One German the other English. No fake German accents. The only way to differentiate between the 2 sides is by the uniforms. It goes quite a ways to kill off some of my prejudices of that pointless conflict which took so many innocent lives.
Well worth a catchup on iplayer if missed.
