Am strongly considering moving out of London and I am starting to think about moving to Beckenham.
I don't know it particularly well (raised in Redhill, lived in Clapham for 7 years) but visited it this week and thought it seemed like a very good option where you get more for your money- I was previously thinking about Wimbledon but the prices are silly
It seems to be relatively well to do, quiet and village like but plenty of restaurants/bars & still on the doorstep of London for work.
Can any Beckenham people tell me what it's like to live there and how easy a commute to London Bridge would be?
Also, as a first time buyer would a flat represent a good investment there compared to more central?
