Let's Be Honest Here.

What else did we expect to happen after that terrible summer? The best manager we've had in my lifetime walks out on us because **** knows why. We fail to sign any QUALITY players, we fail to sign a centre back, a left back and a striker who actually knows how to shoot. Then we appoint a manager who is way out of his depth and has already retired twice.

This is what happens when you don't spend money or strengthen the areas you need to. Our label of being the plucky underdog with team spirit has ended. We rode our luck last season, and this season it isn't the same. It was never going to last with the players we had available. We are shit and it is showing pretty much every game. We had the WHOLE SUMMER to buy a left back. Ward is a right back, he shouldn't have to keep being played at left back because of a shocking transfer window. He's getting worse every week, bless him. We have 3 (three) centre backs. If 2 get injured or banned at the same time, we're pretty much ****ed. We had the WHOLE SUMMER to buy a centre back of real quality.

We should have known from the start that this was likely to happen, it was obvious. We aren't going to stay up by just being optimistic. We needed to sign quality, proven players, and the only way of doing so was by spending more money than we did.

Our lack of quality is showing, and the BBS is being proven correct yet again. We rode our luck all through last season, that was never going to last. It was obvious from May that if we didn't strengthen significantly, we'd likely be ****ed this season.
