My mother in law has very kindly offered to buy us an Xbox. Originally the "One" was a bit of a no brainer, but bearing in mind that this is going to be for the kid's room, (we wouldn't get a look in if it was downstairs,) I'm beginning to have second thoughts.
I've done a bit of research and it seems that the games array for the 360 is greater thanks to age, but also in appropriateness. Xbox One seems to be a much more of an adult purchase as an entertainment hub. Also I've also read that he One needs constant internet access.
I don't want to be enticed by the cheaper price and then regret it in a year, the kids aren't really video games mad, except for Minecraft so superior graphics aren't terribly important. They've happily been playing FIFA 14 on the PS2 for example, however it does concern me that we'll be shelling out again in two years if I don't get the right one.
Appreciate anybody's opinion - cheers
