Right people. I may have had a vino or two but it's clear to me that the BBS has been an absolute morgue recently and i'm sick of it. I literally haven't enjoyed interacting on it recently and i'm over it. As I said on another thread... we have NEVER had it so good and yes that includes the Noades era etc etc. THIS is the time for us to really get behind the team. Yes, nobody expected Pullis to walk when he did, but this is not unique to Palace fans. Come-on we half expect it!!! No Neil has not been appointed for the long term, but he has been hired with a short term view to keep us up this season. I'm going to go out there and say that he's going to blooming well do it too! It may be close but I think we're going to do it!!
Anyone who heard Steve on SH's pod over the last couple of weeks can't have come away with anything less than incredible pride. Any idiot can tell that the board but SP particularly are one of us and doing the best that they can. Yes they have made mistakes but that makes the club that little bit more real. Just look at Selhurst! No peeling paint, new gates, new seats. Yes there are issues still, yes i agree with the 'lipstick on a pig' analogy but she's our pig and she's now FINALLY looking as good as she's probably going to get. BRAVO the board!
So come on people lets get it together, starting at Selhurst tomorrow at 3pm. I just wish I could be with you all!
I last got back 'home' for the play-off final where I still live off the memory of Victoria Station and then Wembley and the cries of 'Eagles, Eagles' it doesn't get any better!
