OK, i'm a bit of a Football Manager dork etc but so are lots of you, and came across Quincy's statistics.
I was thinking that if we signed this player instead of Doyle, people would probably have been far more agreeable or understanding.
Anyway, can anyone think of a striker who has a better list of clubs on his CV, while scoring so few goals?
Years Club Games (goals)
20032006 Arsenal 5 (0)
20062010 Spartak Moscow 29 (3)
20072008 → Celta Vigo (loan) 21 (4)
20082009 → Birmingham City (loan) 19 (2)
2009 → Cardiff City (loan) 5 (0)
2010 → Portsmouth (loan) 10 (1)
20102011 Al-Sadd ? (?)
20102011 → Málaga (loan) 25 (2)
20112013 Panathinaikos 43 (5)
2014 Boavista 0 (0)
National team
20052006 Netherlands U21 7 (1)
2008 Ghana 18 (2)
So that is a total of 16 league goals in 157 games, in which he has turned out for Arsenal, Sparta Moscow, Celta Vigo, Malaga and Panathonaikos.
He's just signed for Boavista.
Makes me feel a bit sorry for Big Calv, really.
