Palace U18s drew 2 all with Forest U18s on Sat. Forest were managed by Jack Lester and their winger Tyler Walker (son of Des) scored their 2nd goal. Their best player IMHO was Liam Adams who played wide left.
Palace led 2 nil at HT thru a solo effort from CF Corie Andrews & a finish from edge of the area by Aaron Bissaka after good interplay between Martin & Bennet. Forest got a deserved draw after a strong 2nd half performance.
Palace side was
GK Brad Comins
RB Ryan King-Eliott
LB Jason Akiotu
CB Jamahl Howlett-Mundle
CB Michael Phillips
RW Elliott List
CM Will Hoare
CM Kiye Martin
AM Ollie Bennet
LM Aaron Bissaka
CF Corie Andrews
subs who came on were Shawniki Clement - Peter, Andre Coker & Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong
Good performances all around with both FBs getting stuck in and Palace looking dangerous on the break due to pace of wide men List & Bissaka and CF Andrews.
Special mention though for both CBs who did not put a foot wrong all game, which was needed as Forest had more of the ball. My MoM goes to CB Michael Phillips as he only stepped up from U16s this season. Very accomplished considering only played handful of previous U18 games. He may end up in CM in long term as played quite a few games there for U16s.
