Huddersfield had the best of the opening 15 mins - we were chasing it a bit- then settled down and were definitely worth the lead when Sullay hit a cracker in off the centre of the bar about 30 mins in - palace continued to press and forced the keeper in to making a foul at the feet of - ( I think ) Karl deSilva - Sullay smashed home the penalty
A bit of lack of discipline at the start of the second half with too many palace defenders getting involved with some pushing and pulling at a corner kick - the ref had a word with a few, then from the corner, a Town attacker got a header at the near post which flew across the goal hitting the far post and going in - The terriers really went for it for about ten minutes, with Greggers pulling off a fantastic save to keep things level on about 55 mins - spreading himself at the feet of the attacker before jabbing the ball away - this seemed to settle the palace lads who extended the lead with 15 minutes left - Sullay ran in a similar fashion to his first goal, from wide left across the face of the area, to smash it into the net from the edge of the box with his right foot - Again, Huddersfield pushed to get something back and did so when a ball being guided out by Conor Dymond was 'kept in' and crossed over for a Huddersfield lad to chest in - the palace lads saw home the last 5 minutes safely - while constantly moaning to the assistant ref that the ball had gone out of play prior to their opposition's 2nd goal -
Hiram came on for the last 20 minutes and kept things quite simple - The right back 'Roddy' looks a good player - Ghass had a good game along with Conor Dymond and obviously Sullay with the 3 goals -Jake very quiet - KDS lots of running - Greggers really organizing a steady back 4 very well - Great to watch a PROPER U21 game!!.........
