Enjoyed the To view the link you have to Register or Login , when you look through our predictions and the final league table, it shows what an amazingly challenging league this is.
Isn't it a ridiculous league? I'd say there are around 15 clubs who all say they are hoping to make a promotion push, and about 10 banking on at least making the play-offs.
Listening to the pundits this morning, nearly every one says for EVERY club (incl Forest, Wigan, Fulham) "it's going to be tough" - nobody has a clue which was the league will go. There are clubs who have previously had packed out stadiums and European football (Birmingham, Blackburn, Bolton), but now, they play to a handful of fans, low on ambition and crippled by their over spending and foolish owners.
At the bottom, I think it's equally as tough to call about teams who could go down. Even Blackpool, for all the media hypderbole, have recruited quite well and could actually have one of those years where they defy the odds.
When you look at the league, it just shows what an amazing and important achievement it was for us to get out when we did. Imagine being a fan of Bolton, Ipswich, Blackburn, M'boro, Watford, Reading, Wigan et al - you'll all quietly hope you can make it up, but only three teams can take those prized places.
A crazy league. Will there be another s?urprise package like Palace and then Burnley
So how will it go? Predict your top 6 (in order) and bottom 3.
TOP 6
Derby
Fulham
---------
Cardiff
Wigan
Wolves
M'boro
---------
(think Ipswich could do well and reckon Brighton will go close again)
BOTTOM 3
Birmingham
Charlton
Rotherham
