I wanted to start this one as Chile fascinate me. Plus, we have the Jedi impact on this game which will be great to see for all Palace fans!
As for Chile, well, they could develop into a real potential dark horse if they take their chances in front of goal (which is traditionally their problem).
They are an incredibly attacking side (arguably the most attacking side in the entire competition) and if you are into tactics, they are pretty fascinating to watch.
They are your modern day team. They press for 90 minutes and look to win the ball back as high up the pitch as possible. They have a lovely variety to their play; they will play direct whenever possible (especially to get the ball into wide area's to create 2v1 overloads), but they will also keep the ball when the 'vertical' option isn't available. And when I say direct, I dont mean aimless hoofs. They love their centre backs to play precise, quick balls into the attacking third.
Marcelo Bielsa is long gone, but they still stick to the same principles that he installed during his time in charge.
Australia? Its going to be a struggle. This group is horrendous for them and if they get a point in any game, it should be considered a pretty decent achievement.
Should be an enjoyable game this one.
