Match atmospheres that seemed to hit some undefinable new level!
Some games are always going generate a good atmosphere: big name teams, play-off finals, for example.
But what games have you been to that, for whatever reason, just seemed to turn into something special? Games that perhaps, on paper, didnt seem anything out of the ordinary, but then something just clicked with the Palace fans.
I recall a 3-2 win at Reading in 1987 or 88, and a half-time chant of Stevie Coppells RednBlue Army just seemed to build and build until it reached an incredible crescendo. Heard later that the players could hear it in the dressing room and couldnt get their heads around the noise we were making before they were even back on the pitch!
May even have been the same season, but a 3-1 win at a hostile Man City was a mental day for what may have been only 600 or 700 travelling Palace fans.
Over to you!

Retraining/small business ideas for a fifty plus'er
Another 10-12 years to go before I get off the work wheel and would like some ideas what to do next. Don't need to earn a fortune, not that I am anywhere near well off, but don't live in London so an income of say £15k-£20k pa should be fine. Tho' more would be nice, of course.
Serious and non-serious suggestions all welcome because who knows I might actually decide to become a stunt cock.

Changes to the laws
Some very interesting changes to the laws coming in next year, especially with VAR for the PL.
Any goal scored with the arm no matter of intent will not stand. Any advantage gained by a ball striking the arm or hand will be a free kick if peeing to a goal scoring chance regardless of intent.
Any ball striking the arm or hand whilst not in ‘natural silhouette’ (think this is hanging down by the side) will be a free kick (or penalty) regardless of intent.
Lot more penalties coming up next year I think.
Oh and subs to leave by nearest place rather than by the dugouts to stop time wasting.
