The British palate ..

I can remember my grandfather turning his nose up frequently at various takeaways I used to bring home back in the 70's . Stock comment was usually " you won't catch me eating that foreign muck " .. ironic that these days our choice of food is probably nearly all foreign ..pizza, bolognaise, curry, paella, etc etc.. Do we prefer foreign food now , or do we still tend to stick to traditional British food ..? I'd say in my house its 75% in favour of foreign . Sunday roast is still the event of the week though ..
