I was in the upper tier yesterday so could easily see that for parts of the first half yesterday we had eight defenders around the edge of our penalty arean with Punch 10 odd yards ahead and Bentenke around the half way line.
Swansea were able to therefore dominate possession and bring the game to us.
People keep blaming Pardew but it was BFS that had us playing this way and the crowd mainly did not like it. I also would say the players themselves would not have liked to have played this way.
This style of play against the team at the bottom of the league I think was surprising for most that went to the game.
Do people this BFS will change this style if the crowd keep showing such an obvious displeasure?
