I just got a new computer and went to load an old Family Tree Maker program disk (circa 2005) so I can access years of work on making a family tree.
The disk appears to just sit there after a few spins and nothing happens. There is no evidence that there is even a disk in that specific drive.
Google has not been any help so I turn to the good ship BBS... Am I SOL?
I would upgrade, but the company that produced this software appears to have been gobbled up by Ancestry.com. I guess if this is a no go, I will have to see if they are compatible.
Cheers for any help re reading old disk... I have a few more like this.
