Watched the Gadget show on Friday testing a £150, £1000 and £17,000 decks. Of course the £17k came out on top but it got me thinking I really should fire up my 40 year old Sony tuner amp and my Dual deck. After a few moments of crackles and silence it all bust into life and my how good it sounds. When the wife comes in it will have to be turned down unless miraculously she goes into the loft and finds her Osmonds vinyl but for now I'm going to search through my records to see what I find.
