So many things seem not to be going in our favor these days, my expectations have been grandly reduced since the New Year. I feel the squad needs to cut some players who haven't been performing or are terminally injured.
I'd be very happy if we give it a good go at Wembley in the semis and avoid a relegation scrap.
In the summer and still with Pards ( who clearly gives a shit about us) we can see what the Yanks bring to the table and also have a decent length window to bring in players we need.
I'm happy palace don't throw silly transfer money away on a gamble but it leaves us frustrated as fans that we don't get season on season progression. That's just a fact of being a palace fan. Until we are significantly bigger we have to play the angle and do the 'Moneyball' thing (which we need to do better at).
We will get there, but need to see this season out first with everyone behind the team and Pards in the hot seat.
