Stunned by what I've just seen (not for the first time) and felt obligated to offer this. Just watched a first half from Melbourne City against the no.1 team on the table in Australia where this guy was tightly man-marked by one of the CM and also contended against a very cynical defensive mid. Somehow still managed to make a plethora of passes of more often than not, extraordinary quality, walking off with an accuracy of 100% (21 passes), which includes him crossing as he roams between central and wide positions. Had a couple of shots, all on target, including a stunning free kick that was only saved by the slightest touch. Absolutely world class player and wasted on this league.
His manager is shite but he makes him look amazing. Since he turned 25 he's suddenly been something else. Wants to go to Europe and test himself and I wouldn't be complaining if it was Palace. Wouldn't take or cost much to get him either given our salary cap.
