It seems almost inevitable that Pardew will succeed ol Roy after next year. The question I want to ask you all however is this...
As seen as Alan has been one of the best managers we have had and as seen as he believes the England job should be for one tournament only can anyone else envision a scenario in which he took the job and then returned to palace after one tournament? If that did happen would you be ok with it?
I kinda doubt that scenario would ever actually play out but I wouldn't be too upset if it did happen (so long as palace are left in good hands and with a really good team whilst he was away). It might also make me want to watch an England team for once.
