Trim the fat

With Pardew keen to bring new players in to really push on over the summer, we are going to have to trim the fat from our squad. The question is who goes. This is our squad list at the moment.

I'd guess Bannan, Ameobi (unless he's given a coaching role), Fryers, Thomas, Campbell, Guedioura and Mariappa are the most likely to be deemed surplus to requirements. Whether or not we'll move them all on or not, and to where, is another question.
