They are canvassing opinion this week at my son's school. Asking if we would potentially be interested in placing our child in a new secondary school they are potentially setting up in the area. A school where my son's year group would be their first in take.
Is this just a gamble too far? Sending a child to a brand new school? The issue is the area doesn't have any secondary schools which does make the idea appealing. However would teething problems or the risk of the school turning out to be awful be too risky?
Or would being the only year group at a small school be a great start?
