Couldn't find an appreciation thread for him, which was odd considering I found one for just about everyone else :confused:
Anyway, thought he was terrific today, and showed that real bit of class we've been lacking recently. His vision, his application, and his tenacity were all on display, and for me he was the clear man of the match, despite Dann scoring twice.
I think we've all known he had those qualities, but for some reason he's been overlooked a lot over the last year. I really hope he gets his chance under Pardew, and then takes full advantage of it.
