Divinity - Original Sin

Had a quick search to see if a thread on this exists but can't see one (probably my mistake).

Anyway, this game is immense. If you like the 'old-school' RPGs such as Baldurs Gate, NW Nights, even the more modern Dragon Age etc, this is a must for you.

Such a huge game world with hilarious dialogue (my personal favourites being the gravestone wording and the Cheese Vendor). But it isn't for the faint hearted, you need to quick save all the time as you can easily get wiped from stumbling into a fight or trap unawares. Also, the game doens't hold your hand - crafting is hard to get to grips with as you basically do stuff trial by error (you can get clues from recipes).

Figting is turned based and works like a dream. Magic is brilliant with great spells. I haven't left the first area yet (there are quite a few) and i have been playing it for over 15 hours. So much to do.

It's pretty much sandbox and you can play as you see fit. A bit like the Fable series, your decisions have as much affect on you and th erest of the world as your fighting does.

Brilliant game, which i shall award a rare but deserved 9/10. Can't think of a better fantasy RPG.

Anyone else play?
