Can you be criminalised for what you do with your body?

Surprised not to find this mentioned on here (if only as a respite from the Pulis/Warnock threads).



As far as I know, there are very few things you can do to your own body that are actually a criminal offence. (With drugs, for instance, the crime is not taking them, but rather possessing them etc).

And presumably if the foetus is a person, then the mother was.



I am struggling to decide where I am on this. Perhaps the BBS knows?
