To cut a long story short a close family friend is in the process of buying a house that has a tenant in it. Section 21 notice was served and expired with the tenant failing to move out. Proceedings began through the courts and the 14 day appeal time scale ran out on July 4th.
Anybody got any experience of how long an actual possession order might take to be granted ? My only experience is this was dealing with Lambeth and that was a few years ago now so I am out of the loop so to speak, allied with the fact that the Lambeth county court system seemed to be a law unto itself (no pun intended).
