Looks at the law of joint enterprise and how seemingly "innocent" people were being convicted. Not really a spoiler but at the end credits McGovern has real people advising how many years their loved ones got and are still serving.
I felt a wee bit uncomfortable about that without knowing the precise circumstances of each of the convictions.
Genuinely no offence meant to the friends and family of that Sydenham train thing cos I believe, if memory serves, some of that group were convicted under this law.
My own view is that judges should be allowed to look at each case on its merits. It seems, if the film is to be believed, that this flexibility has been taken away from them by Parliament.
