Tour De France 2019
Saturday 6 July sees the start of this year's Tour de France, one of the most open in years in the absence of Chris Froome and Tom Dumoulin.
Also sadly missing again this year is the Velogames fantasy tournament - withdrawn for fear of legal action from the tour's organisers wishing to push their own fantasy league.
Rather than switch to the Tour's league, we're running our own small competition - see the next post for details.

Tour de France 2019
The Tour starts tomorrow, 6 July!
It looks a really open one this year too. Chris Froome is absent after suffering a very serious crash a month ago. Geraint Thomas is the defending champion, but was last year a one-off or can he double up? The favourite according the odds I was looking at this morning is actually his 22-year-old teammate Egan Bernal.

Speculation: Mario Lemina
Reports in local Southampton press that Saints may be willing to let Mario Lemina go is the price is right. What that price is is anyone's guess but he would be great next to Luka in the centre of the park. Tackles well, good reading of the game and interceptions, passes well, and would give us a really solid central midfield.
They need to sell in order to add anyone else to their squad apparently.
Anything around £20m would be a great deal for us IMO.
