Due to my own stupidity and blind faith, I assumed our new manager would have been appointed very soon after the last thread was made a month ago. I genuinely thought it would be a matter of hours, not days and certainly not weeks or months. I can only apologise for not being more thorough and giving multiple choices come the July option.
Of course, if an announcement is made this afternoon/evening, I'll look an even bigger knobhead!
