The claim is that Martin Bashir coerced Diana into THAT interview under false pretences. There will now be an independent investigation into the allegations. The claims involve falsification of bank statements suggesting that Diana’s closest confidants were spying on her.
Looks like Earl Spencer, William and Harry are weighing in too. BBC up to their necks in it again.
Bashir is apparently too ill recovering from covid to talk to anyone about it, but has been seen out to dinner in the last week at a swanky restaurant. Have to say, always found him a bit slimy even with the Jacko interview, despite inadvertently exposing the King of Pop’s penchant for cute looking 10 year old boys.
