The M23 will be closed northbound for the whole weekend from Friday 28th February between junctions 10 (Crawley)and 8 (M25) with 50 mph speed restrictions southbound due to conversion to smart motorway. diversions at Crawley will go via A264 and A22 to rejoin M25 at junction 6. You can expect major delays on this route as it has several roundabouts.
The usual free travel zone will apply for 4 hours either side of the game. Thus you will only need to buy train tickets to Haywards Heath, Worthing or Polegate and continue for the rest of the journey to Falmer on presentation of a valid match ticket. This is also valid on local buses towards the ground.
It is expected that a special train will run to East Croydon after the game but this is yet to be confirmed.
Free park and ride is available at:
Mill Road (BN1 8ZF) -off of the A23/A27 junction and
Brighton Racecourse (BN2 9XZ) - travel via A23 towards city centre and follow sins to Racecourse or via coast road towards Saltdean. You are advised not to try to reach this via the A27 past the stadium.
The previous University of Brighton site on the A270 Lewes Road (BN2 4AT) is now shown as closed.
