My son 15 recently guested for a team that had a couple of lads that were religious and insisted that in the team huddle that they led in a prayer. My son found this really awkward and it put him off playing for them again. It’s not important but it did make me wonder if, to be fair to all religions, atheists and all other beliefs, the coaches should have stopped this. Also what’s the etiquette for saying No, without disrupting things and the team.
