- have spent considerably less in the transfer market in recent years
- have no "galacticos"
- have far fewer current internationals on their books
- in fact, currently have two Palace rejects as important players in their teams, whom they got for next to nothing
- lack the "Fortress Selhurst" home support that Palace has, yet have vastly superior home records
- are both likely to be in the semi-finals of the cup this year
- have played us five times - and won each game this season
- have managers who have completely out-thought ours on those five occasions, by changing personnel and shape
