Do you get extension plugs where the cable comes out the side of plug?

Sorry for boring question. But my parents have a lot of plug sockets very close to the carpet so you can’t get plugs in very easily.

Do you get extension plugs where the cable comes out the side of the plug? Don’t think I’ve ever seen plugs like that.
