Isnt all that is it?
5th year in the Premier League, Palace one of the richest clubs in the world, and we are struggling to tread water.
Oh for the day the Premier League implodes and the silver spoon is snatched away.
Is relegation really such a bad things for us fans? The championship is a fantastic competitive league to be involved in and still gives us players to get excited about (imagine Barry Bannon, Dwight Gayle, Jonny Williams turning out in the red n Blue again), so do we fans really suffer by Palace playing football further down the pyramid? I suggest we wont. We would soon get over relegation this season, and go back to the highs and lows of wins and losses, without having to obsess, to the degree we do now, over transfer fees and wages.
Lets get back some football purity and shake off some of the shackles of football simply being a business.
Let the agents and financial backers find another club to line their pockets and leave us to simply get behind our team however shit they maybe from time to time.
